Pet of the Week: Coulson
Coulson is looking for someone who is not afraid to be loved...a lot. This sweet guy absolutely loves his people and does not like it when he is left alone, protesting when his people go away. A home with a big family, and where someone is home the majority of the day, is the ideal situation for Coulson as he does suffer from separation anxiety.
Pets of the Week: Manny, Minnie, and Moe
Manny (green bell), Moe (purple bell) and Minnie (grey and white) are the sweetest trio of three-year-old bonded cat siblings you will ever meet. They came to the Burbank Animal Shelter when their owner passed away and are in need of a new home. They are a little shy in new situations and need a few days to settle in, but once they're comfortable they are incredibly affectionate and love attention.
Adoptable Pet of the Week: Ozzy and Sharon
Ozzy (grey) and Sharon (white) were found running stray in Downtown Burbank and are now at the Burbank Animal Shelter. This Husky duo is a bonded pair and must be adopted together. They are a little shy but warm up quickly once they know you and have established a relationship.
Adoptable Pet of the Week: Kuzko
Meet Kuzko, a three-year-old bull terrier at the Burbank Animal Shelter. Kuzko is a dignified gent, that is smart, strong, and sassy. He’s got loads of skills to show you just how intelligent he is. Kuzko has a lot of energy and some strong opinions to go with it.
Adoptable Pet of the Week: Skip
Meet Skip, a three-year-old Pit Bull Terrier and German Shepherd at the Burbank Animal Shelter. This sweet boy was found running stray here in Burbank. According to kennel staff, Skip is a very sweet and friendly dog but has a high prey drive--because of this, he cannot go to a home with cats or small animals. One of our volunteers who spent time with Skip reported that he likes chin/neck/chest pets and LOVED treats.
Adoptable Pet of the Week: Pablo
Say hello to Pablo the Great! Pablo is a male pit bull terrier at the Burbank Animal Shelter. This delightful boy is a ton of fun who was well loved by his family before coming to the shelter. He is the pure definition of “food motivated” and will give you a textbook "sit" every time (if treats are offered).
Adoptable Pet of the Week: Amy
Meet Amy, a 2.5 year old, female German Shepherd at the Burbank Animal Shelter. Amy is super sweet, loving, and very high energy. While in foster care, Amy did wonderfully with the foster parent's young kids. She will require an active lifestyle with someone who knows the breed and appreciates the care that is needed to help her thrive, like an owner who is as keen for living life as she is and is restless when home for too long would be ideal.
Adoptable Pets of the Week: Honey and Racer
Racer and his partner Honey are here to prove mutts make the best pups! This pair has a little Cattle Dog, Pointer, maybe a dash of Terrier and Dalmatian in them. They both found themselves relinquished to the Burbank Animal Shelter after their owner sadly passed away. Racer is a tripod, missing a rear leg, but the shelter thinks it just helps him run a little faster (less weight to carry). You wouldn't know he's missing a leg when you see him play and frolic with his friend, Honey.
Adoptable Pets of the Week: Sammie & Luna
Sammie and Luna were brought to the Burbank Animal Shelter when their previous owner became ill and could no longer care for them. They are a very sweet pair of bonded dogs that need to stay together as they rely heavily on each other. Sammie is a male, black and brown brindle pitbull terrier around four years old and Luna is a female white pitbull around the same age.
Adoptable Pet of the Week: Princess Jeannette
Meet Princess Jeannette from the Burbank Animal Shelter. She is a fluffy, talkative, and very active senior cat. She would do best as the only pet in an adult-only, quiet home and loves getting pets and scratches behind her ears. Princess Jeannette likes being around people, but also is content with having her own space.
