The Burbank City Council will schedule a special meeting in the coming weeks or months to decide the winner of the Burbank Center Stage Request For Proposals (RFP) process that has been mired in questions and complaints about City Staff execution, communication and competence around the procedure.

DIG days is a monthly event put on by DIG Burbank that gets the community involved in the clean up and weed removal at Burbank’s parks through hands on gardening. Their next event is on September 17th and will then occur every first Saturday of the month starting October 1st.

After looking into the positives of George Izay Park, a Master Plan of potential improvement will be given to the Park & Recreation Board Thursday
