Get ready, Burbank, comedy is taking center stage this August as Flappers Comedy Club & Restaurant rolls out one of the hottest weeks in town!

Across the street from the Mystic Museum is another unique Magnolia Blvd. store. When you walk into Blast From the Past you’re immediately transported. Star Wars action figures line the walls. Classic movie posters compete with Freddy Krueger masks for attention.

The Burbank City Clerk’s Office is accepting applications for the Art in Public Places Committee beginning September 23 through October 23, 2025

Living in Burbank has increased his network and skills, and in order to expand his wheelhouse he attended a local post production school, resulting in his editing the award winning features, CARBON NATION and ASSISTING VENUS (starring Julian Sands).

Burbank’s Art In Public Places Program (APP) was established in 1992. Requiring 1% of major construction project costs be allocated towards on-site art or to a public art fund has made it possible for recognized artists to enhance public spaces throughout Burbank with sculpture, murals, and environs. To date, there are over 130 Art in Public Places pieces throughout the city.

Chloe may be an accomplished filmmaker with awards, commendations and a prestigious degree from Columbia University but she can also be seen helping customers select their keepsakes at her families Vintage store, Junk for Joy, on Magnolia Blvd.
