Burbank Pride, a new committee, in partnership with Magnolia Park Merchants Association, presents the inaugural “Family Pride in the Park” event on Friday, September 30 from 6-9pm. The family-friendly, LGBTQIA+ edition of Magnolia Park Night Out will take place in the UMe Federal Credit Union parking lot at 3000 W. Magnolia Boulevard. 

Tequilas Burbank has partnered with community event organizer and myBurbank writer, Ashley Erikson, to coordinate a Cancer Awareness Fundraiser Dinner on October 12th.  The event will be a non-host dinner where 20% of the proceeds will be donated to the Center for Clinical Genetics and Genomics at the Roy and Patricia Disney Family Cancer Center in Burbank.

Tequilas Burbank held their second successful tasting and pairing dinner event this past Wednesday, this time featuring artisanal agave mezcals from Michoacan, Mexico.  Community members, friends, and council members came out to enjoy the night in the back patio with a five course dinner and mezcal cocktail pairing.

Stay Motivated. - a non-profit organization geared towards raising awareness for suicide prevention and mental health advocacy for military and first responders - is hosting a Summer Sendoff Benefit Concert on September 10th, 2022, at the Starlight Bowl in Burbank.

Skate Oddity turned Burbank “upside down” for their Hellfire Skate Club event at the LA Kings Burbank Sports Center on August 20th and 28th.  The Stranger Things themed roller skating events were put on by Skate Oddity, a “rock’n’rollerdisco” group that has been holding 80’s music and culture inspired skate nights at the outdoor rink.

UMe Credit Union is hosting a free outdoor movie night this Friday, August 26th, featuring the Disney film, Encanto. The free community event will take place in the UMe parking lot, located at 3000 W Magnolia Blvd, right here in Burbank. The event starts at 6:00pm with a pre-show kickoff featuring food trucks, trivia, kids activities, giveaways and more.

Elevate Burbank hosted their first ever Multicultural Arts Festival on the Burbank High School field this past Saturday.  The free event took place on August 20th from 11:00AM to 5:00PM with a full line up of musicians, dancers, martial arts demonstrations and more.

Garry Marshall Theatre presents their first ever Outdoor Summer Concert Series happening for only five nights from August 24-28 at 8:00PM. The series will feature Jospeh Leo Bwarie, Crystal Lewis, Ty Taylor, Alisan Porter, and Don Most.

Join Girls on the Run Los Angeles (GOTRLA) this Sunday, August 21st from 9:00-11:00am at Johnny Carson Park for a free family-friendly event open to the entire community. The event is in partnership with the City of Burbank’s Park and Recreation department and offers an optional morning run as well as engaging activities for kids.
