Burbank Historical Society revives patio barbecue tradition to thank members for donating time to guiding tours of Burbank Museum

Saturday evening the Burbank Elks Lodge was filled with over 210 guests all with the same thing in common, they either were a customer, a server or a family members of the Marvin Cecchini Family owners of the late Genio's restaurant.

This past Saturday several hundred Burbank Community members showed up at UMe Credit Union to help pack boxes for our troops serving our country.

The comedians at Flappers Comedy Club are going to be on fire this Wednesday at 7:30p and it is all for a good cause. They are working with the Burbank Fire Department to collect toys and sporting goods for children who really need them.

Burbank and Burroughs grads join for sixth annual reunion this Saturday night at the Castaway. Organizer Gilbert Tobon has experience planning parties since he supervised a Young Life high school organization for the better part of 25 years.

This past weekend The Burbank Police Departments Community Outreach & Personnel Services Bureau (COPS) along with volunteers from Walk, Bike , Burbank gathered at the intersection of Keystone & Chandler to register bikes and make minor repairs.
