Veteran’s Day brings communities together to honor and celebrate those who have served, and those currently serving in the armed forces of the United States. Burbank honored its veterans on Tuesday with a ceremony at McCambridge Park, including veterans representing conflicts ranging from World War II to the War Against Terror.

The Magnolia Park elementary school students colored hundreds of butterflies which were put together in a giant art installation in Roosevelt's main hallway.

Burbank-Burroughs Alumni Association brings together high school graduates to socialize and watch the Homecoming Football Game on Memorial Field -- familiar turf for both schools. Alumni dined on tacos while listening to live music at school district parking lot before walking to the game.
