A neighbor came to the rescue of a woman who was allegedly being car-jacked, engaging in a gun battle until the suspects fled.

The Burbank City Council held a virtual joint meeting with the Police Commission on Tuesday, February 9th, 2021. The meeting pushed past midnight putting the council members in overtime, and the majority of the meeting was spent in discussion of the recommendations to council from the Police Commission as well as callers in the public comment portion of the joint meeting.

Two pursuits in two days puts two different people in Burbank's jail

Man pronounced dead in an apartment in the 200 block of W. Tujunga around 1:45 am Tuesday. No suspects in custody at this time.

Sunday evening Burbank Airport Police received a call from an employee of Atlantic Aviation which is on the Sherman Way side of the airport that there was a male outside of their terminal with blood and cuts on his arms.

A witness driving down Burbank Blvd Tuesday morning around 5:22 am saw suspects smashing a window at Aero Liquor he called 911 immediately and gave the dispatcher a description and the direction they were last seen.

"The investigation into this incident is still active"
