On the morning of Wednesday, May 30, California Highway Patrol chased a man who had carjacked a vehicle from Pasadena to Burbank, where the pursuit came to an end.

Police are looking for a white male, possibly in his 20's and stands between 5' 7" to 6 feet tall

Burbank Fire Department and Burbank Police Department hosted Fire Service Day and National Police Week this past Saturday.

On May 4, a man and a woman who allegedly went on a bank robbery spree were arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department.

On May 6 around midnight, Burbank Police responded to a call of a smashed window which activated a burglary alarm at Ulta Beauty of Empire Center, located at 1351 Victory Place. Two suspects were arrested.

On May 2 at 2:00 p.m., Burbank Police responded to a call about a man possibly holding a gun near the Metrolink Station on Front St.

On April 29, at 4:40 p.m. a bicyclist who was traveling north on Lincoln St. was hit when a driver of a parked vehicle opened their door into the bike lane.

Burbank K-9 Officer John Embleton spotted a Mercedes-Benz run a red light, traveling at an excessive speed over 80 MPH on Buena Vista Street.

Burbank Police Officers along with Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run teamed up Wednesday evening to help raise funds for Special Olympics serving food and drinks at California Pizza Kitchen.

On Thursday Burbank leadership, residents, business people, and friends gathered at the Pickwick Gardens to celebrate the dedication and accomplishments of Burbank Police Department and our citizens at the 4th Annual Burbank Police Awards Luncheon.
