Burbank firefighters and police were called at around 5:00 p.m. to a reported person who either jumped or fell in front of a southbound MetroLink train as it was approaching the Burbank MetroLink Station.

On April 17 at 7:10 a.m., Burbank Police were investigating a parking violation and discovered three dead bodies inside of a vehicle on the 1300 block of S. Varney St.

On April 16, at 5:15 p.m., Burbank Police and Paramedics responded to a traffic accident involving a bicyclist who was hit by a car on Alameda Ave. between Mariposa St. and Griffith Park Dr.

On April 2 at 5:35 p.m., Burbank Police responded to a call about a stolen Ford F350 which contained gardening tools on the 400 block of North Lamer St. The truck was later found abandoned with some equipment missing.

Ten years after “hands-free” laws were put into place to improve safety on the road, there has been a decrease in accidents caused by distracted drivers using their cellphones

On March 29 at a.m., Burbank Police found a man pushing a shopping cart full of alcohol near Ontario Street and Pacific Avenue. The suspect was arrested for allegedly breaking into Isabella's Italian Kitchen and stealing wine and beer.

On March 26, Shownee Shon Smith, 41 of Pasadena, was sentenced for committing six bank robberies throughout summer 2017. His crime spree started on May 15 when he robbed branches of US Bank in Burbank.

Burbank Fire Department responded with a total of 22 personnel to a reported house fire located on Chandler Boulevard Saturday morning.

On March 14, Burbank Police and Glendale Police in the AB109 Task Force discovered several firearms and ammunition during a probation search of a convicted felon.

On March 13, at 2:30 a.m., Burbank Police arrested two men who were looking into cars with flashlights and possessed stollen IDs, credit cards, and burglary tools on 700 block of Priscilla Ln.
