On Tuesday morning students from John Burroughs High School, law enforcement officer from the Burbank Police Department and California Highway Patrol (CHP), and the Mercedes Benz Driving Academy joined forces to kickoff California Teen Safe Driving Week and National Distracted Driving Month.

The Jazz Ensemble will play the finest culmination of big band music that months of study has prepared them for on Saturday, January 19

An elite squad of approximately 50 of the band program’s most dedicated students, from Freshman to Seniors, will proudly represent John Burroughs High School on the national stage.

The dominating effort by Burbank was the largest margin of victory against Burroughs since a 28-0 shutout of the Indians in 1984.
