The Bears lead from start to finish in a Pacific League triumph over the Mustangs on Friday.

It’s an intense John Burroughs High School varsity softball game. Catcher, Rachel Little, is engaged in the game, watching the field where her teammates are ready and in position. In the stands are parents, classmates, and a 10-year-old girl named Skylar Celli-Recht, holding a handmade “Go #2 Rachel” sign and cheering on her favorite player. 

It took a couple of matches before the Bulldogs experienced triumph. However, it put things together Wednesday.

The Bulldogs began the match slowly but then pulled away for the victory over the Mustangs.
