The Burbank Tournament of Roses is hosting an Open House and Craft Faire on Saturday, October 8, 2011, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, at the Burbank Float Construction and Decoration Site, Burbank Water and Power, located at 123 W. Olive Avenue. Parking is at the Burbank Metrolink Parking Lot. The event is FREE to the public!
Over 19 crafters and vendors will feature Jewelry, Glassware, homemade BBQ Rubs, Jam’s, Pauline’s Handmade Brittle candy, and much more – just in time for Fall Harvest, Halloween and Christmas decorating and gift giving! Find that unique gift you’ve been looking for while helping to support the Burbank Tournament of Roses Association in building its 2012 Rose Float Entry, The Dream Machine.
Opportunities to take a picture with Bob’s Big Boy from the award winning 2011 Burbank Rose Float, will be available, as well as an on-display viewing of the Rose Float’s chassis and animation system. The Breezy Freeze Shaved Ice truck will be at the site for the day and a hamburger or hot dog lunch will be available for $5.00 to help proceeds towards building the float.
