This holiday season, the Providence Health & Services Blood Donor Center urges the public to give the Gift of Life by donating blood at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center. Providence will donate $5 per blood donor through Jan. 31 to one of several charitable organizations in the community – the Burbank Animal Shelter, Boys and Girls Club of Burbank, Burbank Temporary Aid Center, Kids’ Community Dental Center and Family Services Agency of Burbank

When: Mondays and Wednesdays – 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursdays 12:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturdays 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There is a great need for blood, especially this time of year, and there is a great financial need within our own community. A blood donation will continue beyond saving a life. It can help feed a family, shelter a child or rescue an animal.
