Upon there arrival they found a pickup truck that went out of control up onto the sidewalk, missing a fire hydrant but running smack into some water valves that supply the nearby building with water.

The driver was removed by officers, and he allegedly appeared very intoxicated, he was moved to a safe spot and then was treated by Burbank Paramedics who transported him to Saint Joseph Medical Center, with his hands handcuffed to a stretcher.

The truck was later removed and Water & Power Water division responded to secure the leaking valves.
