Eddy Polon’s campaign for Burbank City Council today announced endorsements from labor unions, current and former state lawmakers, advocacy organizations and Burbank resident and small-business owners who support Polon’s vision for Burbank’s future.
Polon announced the following endorsements:
- IATSE Local 33, representing 1,700 workers in the local live-entertainment industry

Polon has lived in Burbank for 35 years and has served on the Burbank Transportation Commission since October 2022. The campaign describes the coalition as grassroots and progressive and says its supporters share priorities that include affordable housing, job protections, safer streets and stronger support for small businesses.
“To protect what we love about Burbank, we need to remember what brought us here,” Polon said following the announcement of the endorsements. “Burbank is a place where working people can
build a life, a family can buy a home, and a small business can grow. Those doors were open for us. Let’s open them for the next generation.”
