Equestfest Entertains Thousands Prior To 2016 Rose Parade

The 27th Annual EquestFest held Tuesday at The Los Angeles Equestrian Center presented Equestrians from the 127th Rose Parade. The several thousand in attendance watched in awe as the beautiful horses and the talented riders preformed drills and dances and demonstrated trick riding roping and more.

Rose Queen Erika Karen Winter and her royal court presided over the event along with 2016 Tournament of Roses President Mike Matthiessen.  The USMC Color Guard led off the event like they will in this years Rose Parade.

Guest in attendance got to visit vendor booths setup in the riding rings outside the Equestraindome and buy horse and parade memorabilia.

The highlight of the event was the display and demonstration by the Budweiser Clydesdales along with loud firing of a 80 mm cannon from Fort Still Artillery Half Section.
