Peace Walk hosted  by the Burbank Human Relations Council

Please join us for one hour and  walk 5000 steps on a path of peace and goodwill.  We will meet at the WWII Memorial (adjacent to diamond #1) on Olive Ave at George Izay Park. Some of our faith leaders will lead and inspire us. This neighborhood walk is part of Los Angeles Countywide activities, and in conjunction with United Against Hate Week. Communities throughout L.A. County have experienced a rise in hate incidents, hate crimes and anti-Semitism. Join us as we walk together in the spirit of solidarity and remembrance of the many innocent victims of hate, aggression, terrorism, and violence in our region, nation, and the world.

We will have signs available: Posters created by the youth of Burbank, and the BHRC “Choose Love. Be Kind” and “Hate Has No Home Here” signs.
