The California School Employees Association (CSEA) announced on Monday that the group has endorsed Steve Ferguson for School Board.

This latest endorsement distinguishes Ferguson’s candidacy as he is the only School Board candidate to secure the support of both labor groups in the Burbank Unified School District.
Mary Hyman, Association President said in a statement, “California School Employees Association Burbank Chapter 674 endorses Steve Ferguson for Burbank School Board. Steve is young but has considerable civic and political experience. We feel he will be a valuable addition to the School Board. He will bring a fresh, but informed, outlook to the School Board and will make his views and his voice heard.”
Ferguson replied to the announcement by saying “Classified employees are some of the most hard working individuals I have ever met in my life, and to have their support is absolutely humbling. I know of their work, I have seen their dedication first-hand and I am incredibly honored to have their support!”
Steve Ferguson also announced the endorsement of Mary Lou Stefano and Former Burbank Mayor Vince Stefano, Jr. “The Stefano’s have given selflessly to this community for years. Their support means a great deal to me as I look to maintain our community’s standards in our schools for future generations.”
