Burbank Fire fighters were called to 325 N. San Fernando Blvd, at 11:41 p.m. Friday, for a report of a structure fire. When the first fire units arrived moments later,  they found smoke coming from under the metal roll-up door  that covers the front of the closed business.

Firefighters used rotary saws to cut through the metal door to a building filled with smoke. They discovered someone had lit some combustibles near the front entrance, with the fire not extending

inside the building. Firefighters cleared the smoke and checked out to make sure nothing was on on the roof. Traffic on San Fernando Blvd was blocked for close to an hour while the fire equipment was required.

Burbank Police assisted with the crowd control, and the investigation.
