The original Burbank City Hall was on the corner of 3rd and Olive across from the current City hall.
For a time they faced each other.
The old brick building housed all City offices and both the Police and Fire Stations. The building was the center of City government for nearly 50 years. It was also a place people liked to have their photo taken to promote “doings” around town.
It is a shame that Burbank has a habit of tearing down its historic buildings. There is a plaque on the office building there now that commemorates this grand structure, stop by and check it out.
