Target has been running a Facebook voting campaign, giving $1 per vote for a selected school, during the month of September. Voters may choose a K–12 school from the list of eligible schools. When the contest was announced, voters could select the same school every week until September 21 or until $5 million has been awarded, whichever occured first. Target has extended the campaign until September 30. No purchase is necessary, but voters must vote via the Facebook app, which requires a Facebook account to access.
A maximum of $10,000 will be awarded per school. Voting is limited to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, and be 13 years of age and older. There is a limit of one vote per person per week. Cast a vote or get more details and information at the Give With Target Facebook site.
