Burbank Police on Tuesday, April 10, received information from a tip regarding narcotics activity in the 300 block of N. Pass Ave. It eventually led them to a suspected drug dealer who is an octogenarian.
During their investigation, officers observed what appeared to be a hand to hand narcotics deal between a couple. They then contacted the man and woman in the parking lot at 4310 W. Riverside Dr. Accorrding to police, both were in possession of narcotics, and placed under arrest at 9:20 a.m.
Jack Owen Murphy 82, of Valley Village was arrested for cocaine possession with intent to sell. He was booked into the Burbank Jail, with bail was set at $50,000. He bonded out and due in court May 1. Korey Rose Janke, 54, of Burbank was arrested for possession of cocaine. Her bail was set at $10,000. She also bonded out and is due back in court May 1.
