Officials from the High Speed Rail Authority held an open house on Monday evening drawing people to the Buena Vista Library. Interactive displays and plenty of representatives were on hand to answer questions and show maps and displays.
Burbank Vice Mayor Bob Frutos along with City Councilwoman Emily Gabel-Luddy were present to ask questions and get questions answered by California High-Speed Rail Authority representatives.
The purpose of the open house was to answer questions and quell rumors that are being spread on social media. The informative gathering was to help the public get the correct information that will pave the way for High Speed Rail, and fulfill the requirements set by law to inform the public.
