Home Invasion Robbery On Bonita Avenue Under Investigation, Leads Sought

On November 3, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Burbank Police officers responded to the 1800 block of Bonita Avenue regarding a robbery investigation. The occupants of the home stated that two men entered the residence and forced them to a room and terrorized the victims, an elderly man and woman in their 70s, for over an hour, according to Lt. Eduardo Ruiz of the Burbank Police Department. The suspects systematically ransacked the home, searching for valuables. The victims were placed in a room and told to not come out.

The investigation so far has revealed that the suspects forced entry through rear doors to the home. The victims were shaken up but not injured during the incident. The suspects, a thin-built male African-American about 6 feet tall and wearing pants and a shirt and another thin-built male African-American about 5′ 10″ tall and wearing shorts and a shirt fled in an unknown direction and no vehicle was seen. Cash and jewelry of an undetermined amount were taken in the robbery.
