A Burbank family were the victims of a home invasion robbery after a group of men forced their way into their home in the 1000 block of Fairmount Rd.
A trio of robbers came to the home at 12:16 a.m. Wednesday morning. All three wore ski masks, and carried handguns. They told their victims that they were FBI agents. Once inside, they forced the husband, his wife, and teenage son to lie on the ground at gunpoint.
They demanded cash, and forced the wife to show them were it was located. After getting the cash, the suspects ran out the front door of the residence and left in a dark-colored 4-door car, that was last seen westbound down Fairmount Rd.
The suspects are described only as males, possibly Caucasians, young in appearance. All were wearing dark clothing and ski masks.
All three victims were treated at the scene by Burbank Fire Department paramedics for minor injuries received when they were pushed around by the suspects. They did not require additional medical treatment.
Detectives are investigating the robbery, conducting interviews, and trying to find any clues. Anyone with information can contact the Burbank Police Department at 818-238-3000.
