This past weekend the Burbank Police Foundation hosted the Second Annual Hoof and Woof Walk fundraiser at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center. Hundreds of people took advantage of the perfect weather on Saturday, April 19, and participated in the event with their own dogs and horses.
The day had plenty of events including a walk through the Equidome with dogs and horses. Demonstrations were put on by Burbank’s two K-9 handlers with their K-9 partners Kimo and Stevo. Burbank’s lone Equestrian Unit gave demonstrations and let everyone pet the horse.
There were sponsors from several animal-related business, along with Burbank-based businesses and pet rescue organizations.
The funds raised from Saturday’s event will supplement the budgets for the Burbank Police Department’s K-9 and Equestrian Units.
