Although the rain was coming down outside, Burbank firefighters still had their hands full with a house fire that occurred on the 2200 block of Lamer St. Tuesday afternoon around 4 pm.

According to Battalion Chief John Owings, “Upon arrival, units found a one-story residence with a small fire in the living room. The fire was quickly knocked down within minutes of arrival. There were no injuries to firefighters or civilians, however, two cats were found deceased.”
