Several boxes of Sony video cameras and monitors were reported taken by four suspects during a film equipment warehouse burglary reported Monday evening, January 27, at 9:43 p.m. Burbank Police officers responded at 9:57 p.m. to an alarm call from Band Pro Film & Digital, Inc., located at 3403 Pacific Ave., near Hollywood Way.

Although the exact amount of the items taken is not yet known, business owners declared it a “huge financial loss,” according to Sgt. Darin Ryburn of the Burbank Police Department. When police responded to the alarm, they noticed the back door had been pried open, so the business owners were called in to check the inventory. The warehouse stocks film and digital video equipment for retail, business and professional uses.

Burbank Police are reviewing security video footage from the evening and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone who may have been in the area at that time and may have seen something are asked to contact the Burbank Police Department at 818-238-3210.
