This past Saturday several hundred Burbank Community members showed up at UMe Credit Union to help pack boxes for our troops serving our country.
Supported by several Burbank Companies to name a few are Keller Williams, City of Burbank, Cusumano Real Estate Group, Hollywood Burbank Airport. The assembled group got to enjoy great weather, live music with a band, free BBQ lunch and the feeling of putting a smile on a solders face.
The boxes included reading books, toothpaste, toothbrushes, new socks, hand written letters, pictures from Burbank, foot powder, shaving cream, disposable razors, bar soap, lotions, and plenty more.
The boxes over 600 of them will be shipped by Burbank Veterans Committee, the next several weeks just in time for the upcoming holidays.
