Burbank Public Works Crews with street sweepers and ground crews were called to Glenoaks Blvd. on Wednesday afternoon after an unknown truck lost part of his load and left debris everywhere. Southbound Glenoaks between Harvard and Cypress was temporarily closed while a couple of street sweepers could make several passes cleaning up the scattered trash.

A Burbank parking control officer also reported what appeared to be a suitcase in the middle of Third Street and Cypress with thousands of sheets of paper flying all over the intersection. The street sweepers made several runs up and down Cypress picking up the paper. If you were driving by one would think there was a street sweeper rodeo going on in the area.

Traffic on Glenoaks in the southbound direction was diverted while the crews cleaned everything up, sending cars east and west on Harvard.
