Each quarter, Mayors who represent all of the cities in L. A. County meet to go over shared concerns.
This latest meeting was hosted by Burbank.
While most meetings go unnoticed, this time there was a buzz because on the same day as the meeting, Hillary Clinton released her ‘short list’ of Vice-Presidential picks and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti was named on the list.
News media from al over the area were on hand, not to cover the meeting, but to interview Garcetti, who said he was not interested in the position but wanted to run for re-election.
