La Providencia Guild of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles welcomed new members to its annual New Member’s Tea on February 14th at the beautiful Burbank home of Marcia Baroda.

First Vice President and event chair, Rosemarie Witten was assisted by her committee, Diane Campbell, Joan Chandler, Veronica Chavoor, Sue Ann Gordon, Judy Gragg, Mary Hurst, Lorelei Kelley, Tish Sellers and Deborah Spang. Mary Jo Hjelmstrom served tea as the new Associate members were introduced. The new members are DeeDee Rowlands, Sandra Kelley, Sophia Macisaac, Marsha Floyd and Beth Bowles. Sue Meckley and Tanya Karn were welcomed as new Provisional members to the Guild’s Active Board.
The La Providencia Guild was established in 1947 and serves the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Glenda Jones, Public Relations for the Guild stated “our goal is to raise more awareness about Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and the services they provide our children, as well as bring more awareness to the La Providencia Thrift Shop, located at 3301 West Burbank Boulevard in Burbank. As Volunteers of the La Providencia Guild, we are committed to making the lives of all children better”.
