The Award Winning Burbank Rose Float ‘Deep Sea Adventure’ is home and parked at Olive Ave. and Glenoaks Blvd., and the public is invited to come see it. You can also meet some of the volunteers that spent their holidays gluing, stapling, painting to get it done and off to Pasadena for the Rose Parade.
If you want to get the real smell of over 40,000 roses, and see how they keep them alive, now is the time to do it. They will be running the animation every couple of hours, which includes the music that was played during the parade.
Bring you new digital camera or iPad and snap some pictures. You can even pose with the float. The float will be on display until Monday morning, when it is schedule to be towed back to the “float barn” at the Burbank Water and Power plant. A float demolition party will be held soon to dismantle this float and salvage as much as possible to be recycled into next year’s float.
