Magnolia Park Ladies Night Out Kicks Off New Year


Magnolia Park Ladies Night Out begins 2015 with the the first Ladies and Gents Night Out of the year on Friday, January 30. The event runs from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and features extended shop hours, live music, 25 food and dessert trucks, deals, discounts, artists and Magnolia Park’s unique block party atmosphere.

For the January Ladies Night Out, the Magnolia Park Merchants Association are holding an Instagram photo contest. Ladies Night Out attendees who snap photos during the event and post to Instagram, tagging @magnoliaparkburbank and #magnoliaparkburbank, will have a chance to win a $30 gift certificate to their favorite Magnolia Park store.

unnamedBesides food and dessert trucks, a few mobile boutiques, including clothing and yarn trucks will be parked along the boulevard. Special guests will both be strolling Magnolia and anchored at various stores in the eclectic shopping district as well.

Encore Nouveau offers complimentary wine and cheese, Mindfulnest will give 15% discount on purchases and Swift offers 20% off during Ladies Night Out. Ladies paint for free at A World Of Color. More deals can be found online here.

Zach Puchtel, The Jug Or Nots, Thunder Tap and the American Roots Revival Band are all scheduled to perform. Special guests such as the Burbank Fire Corps, Madcap Balloons and artis Jacqueline Myers-Cho will be in attendance.

More information on the event can be found here. Ladies and Gents Night Out occurs on the last Friday of every month from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Magnolia Park district of Burbank. Most activities are centered east and west of the intersection of Hollywood Way and Magnolia Boulevard, with some shops on the blocks directly north and south of the intersection participating in the festivities as well.

Magnolia Park also hosts Second Saturdays, a local art walk held on the second Saturday of every month from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. Local artists, live music, special eats and treats abound at the growing monthly event.
