Burbank Police & Firefighters responded to the intersection of Vanowen and Valley streets around 6:07 PM Saturday evening and found the results of a violent car accident with two cars involved and one person trapped inside her car.
Burbank Firefighters had to use the ‘Jaws of Life’ to extricate one of the victims, having to cut the doors and roof off. Once the victim was removed the Paramedics used air splits and back boards to stabilize at least one broken leg, which they treated her prior to transporting to Holy Cross Hospital in Granada Hills.
