A man was arrested at Sardo’s Bar on Pass Avenue in the Lakeside Shopping Center after police said he hit another man with a bottle.
Nathan Balderas (35) of Burbank was taken into custody after officers said that he and the victim were arguing at the bar. The victim walked up to the suspect physically confronted him. Balderas then grabbed a bottle and hit the victim on the head with the bottle.
The victim immediately lost consciousness and fell to the ground. Balderas then jumped on top of the victim and began punching him. Several patrons of the bar intervened and pulled the suspect off the victim. He then fled the bar and was later located by police near the location. The victim, who was not identified, suffered head injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
Balderas was arrested for ADW and booked at the Burbank Jail. He later posted a $30,000.00 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on 11/20/14.
