An alley shortcut south of crowded Magnolia Blvd and Mariposa led to this bicyclist being struck as he peddled on the sidewalk into the path of this Mercedes going westbound in the south alley. Burbank Paramedics checked out the bike rider and found only minor bumps and bruises, although his bicycle didn’t fair as well. The Burbank Police Traffic Division will continue their investigation.
