Wednesday, Feb 8, around 4:25 p.m., Burbank Police officers were flagged down by three young girls in the area of Sixth St., and E. Cypress Ave. The girls informed the officers that a man had just tried to convince them to get in his truck with him on the 500 block of E. Cypress Ave.

The girls said that as they were walking home, a grey pickup truck stopped in the road and honked its horn. The suspect told the girls to, “Come on.” He then gestured for them to come over to his vehicle. The male again told the girls, “Come on and get in.” The girls were frightened by this individual and ran to a nearby building.

The suspect was described as a white male, Armenian, with dark brown hair and thick stubble on his face. The male appeared to be in his mid to late 40’s. He was wearing a short sleeve blue shirt and he was driving a mid-size grey pickup truck. The suspect was last seen leaving the area westbound on E. Cypress Ave.
