The Mariposa Equestrian Bridge will be closed for 12 days to allow crews from the Burbank Public Works Department to make necessary repairs and perform general maintenance.
The bridge near S. Mariposa Street and Valleyheart Drive, will be closed to both horse and pedestrian traffic from Monday, July 30, through Friday, August 10.
Popular with riders from the Rancho area of Burbank, the bridge allows equestrians to esily cross over the Los Angeles River and access the horse trails in Griffith Park.
