The City of Burbank Park, Recreation and Community Services Department has announced the extension of the 2012 summer aquatics season for an additional five weeks.
McCambridge Pool, which was originally scheduled to be closed on September 9, will now remain open through Sunday, October 14. During the five week extension, recreation swim will be open weekends only from 1:00-5:00 p.m. Lap swim hours will also be extended; schedules are available at the pool or on-line.
Aqua Trim and Aqua Zumba fitness classes have each added an additional session to run during this extension as well. Registration is currently being accepted on-line at www.burbankparks.com or at the pool during the following times:
Monday – Friday
5:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.
11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
6:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Registration will also be accepted beginning 30 minutes prior to the first class if there is space available. The pool will close for the season on Sunday, October 14, 2012.
The swim schedule for that day will be as follows:
Lap Swim 9:30 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
Recreational Swim 12:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Doggie Splash 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
