The Verdugo Park Aquatic Center which is almost ready to use, but just not yet.
The City is waiting for some inspections from Los Angeles County as this is a public pool and must meet County & State requirements. Construction is considered complete, and water testing is also completed.
According to Burbank Parks Recreation and Community Services Deputy Director Marissa Garcia, they hope to have the pool open shortly near June 1st for a soft opening, and once in operation they plan on an ‘Official Ribbon Cutting and Ceremonies’ sometime in June.
Garcia did note that The McCambridge Park Pool will open this, Saturday May 25th, as planned.
