The Burbank Transportation Management Organization’s (BTMO) Chairman, Michael Cusumano, announced the appointment of Burbank City Manager Michael Flad to the BTMO Board of Directors at its March 16th meeting.
“We are happy to have Mike on the Board. His leadership will assist in our goals of trip reduction and transportation management throughout Burbank which will continue to improve the overall quality of life for the community,” said Mr. Cusumano. The City of Burbank, one of the area’s largest employers, has been a member of the TMO for a number of years.
Founded in 1989, and located in Burbank, California, the BTMO is a private-sector, dues-based nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing traffic and improving air quality. Significant to BTMO’s mission is to develop, implement, manage, monitor, and measure transportation demand-management programs.
“I’m honored by this appointment and look forward to working with the Board on actively improving local traffic conditions and expanding upon the City’s sustainability efforts,” said Mr. Flad.
