Boys Soccer:

Burroughs 4 Burbank 2 (Indians win league title- see story)

Burroughs 2 Muir 1

The Indians are one win away from clinching back-to-back league titles. Tied 1-1, Milosh Petko scored the game-winner off an assist from Brandon Gerlach with seven minutes remaining in the match. Petko scored both goals for the Indians. Burroughs has a two-point lead on Pasadena who tied Arcadia 0-0.

Girls Soccer:

Burbank 3 Burroughs 1 (Bulldogs claim 2nd place; Indians take 4th)

Seven different Indian players scored en route to an 8-0 win against Muir. Taylor Bailey recorded her 8th shutout of the season.

Girls Basketball:

The Indians remained perfect in the Pacific League (13-0). Delaney Nicol had a phenomenal game with 14 points, eight steals and six rebounds. Jakarra Waddell had nine points, 10 rebounds and four assists. Paula Galicia added 10 points and four steals.

Burbank 48 Glendale 39

Yazzy Sa ‘Dullah scored 23 points, grabbed seven rebounds and had four steals as the streaking Bulldogs won their sixth straight game.

Boys Basketball:

Burbank 57 Burroughs 32 (Indians finish 4th in league; Bulldogs take 5th- see story)

Burbank 47 Glendale 27

The Bulldogs suffocated the Nitros with a swarming defensive effort limiting Glendale to just 16% field goal shooting. Anthony Kardosh scored 18 points.

Muir 73 Burroughs 70 (overtime)

The Indians continue to struggle as they lost their fourth game in league during the second round of play. Amaad Wainright scored 27 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. David Schwer added 16 pts.

Cheyenne Morrison scored five goals for the Indians
