Burroughs 5 Burbank 1 (see story)
The Indians won their seventh straight game and 13 of their last 14 contests behind a superb pitching effort from Danny Bustos and Max DeAmicis. Burroughs gained a point in the myBurbank CUP race.
Burroughs 4 Pasadena 2
The Indians avenged their lone loss in league with a solid defensive effort. While the Bulldogs couldn’t play catch (three throwing errors), Burroughs made routine plays look easy and spectacular plays look routine. Max Haddad’s splendid off-balance throw to first base finished the game and ended any possible comeback by Pasadena. On the hill, Thomas Wilson settled in after giving up two runs in the second and threw six innings allowing five hits and striking out five. Max DeAmicis recorded the save. Aidan Anding had two RBIs and Roy Hirota had two of the four Indian hits on the afternoon.
