Baseball:

Burbank 8 Burroughs 6 (see story)

Burroughs 10 Hoover 0

Aiden Anding went 3 for 3 with two RBI’s. Four Indian pitchers combine for eight strikeouts allowing only one hit in five innings.  Burroughs improves to 6-0 in league and remains in first place.

Burbank 11 Muir 0

Camden Palmisano hit a 2-run home run going 1 for 3 with three RBI’s. Ricky Perez went 2 for 2 with a double and a triple and drove in two runs. Four Bulldog pitchers combined on a three-hitter. Burbank improves to 5-1 in league and stays in second place.

Softball:

Burbank 3 Burroughs 0 (see story)

Burbank 13 Muir 0

Caitlyn Brooks and Ashley Russo threw a combined no-hitter striking out 13 batters and walking only two. Brooks went 2 for 2 with two runs scored and three RBI’s while Katie Hooper went 3 for 3 with three runs scored and three RBI’s. Brooks had a home run and Hooper smacked two home runs. Burbank improves to 6-0 in league.

Burroughs 12 Hoover 1

Brice Edrington returned to the mound and threw four innings allowing five hits, one run and striking out seven. Michelle Santiago and Cheyenne Steward banged out home runs. Burroughs improves to 5-1 in league.
