Burbank Police responded Code 3 after receiving several calls that a motorcyclist was struck and down on the 1800 block of West Magnolia Thursday afternoon.
Responding units found a male motorcycle rider laying in the street in front of the Burbank City Credit Union and his motorcycle a half block away. Burbank firefighters arrived along with paramedics and they treated the rider prior to transporting him to LA County USC Medical Center with moderate non-life threatening injuries.
Burbank traffic investigators will investigate the cause of the accident.
Traffic on Magnolia was detoured during the incident and reopened within an hour of the call.
