With two different elections coming within a week of each other, Burbank residents have been confused when receiving ballots from the upcoming County Election when they thought they were expecting ballots for Burbank offices.
Burbank’s City Clerk’s Office is advising the public that the City’s Primary Municipal Election Ballots and Sample Pamphlet Books were mailed to voters on Wednesday, January 28, 2015.
These ballots feature candidates for Burbank City Council and Board of Education. Those wishing to vote in the Burbank Primary Election must complete these ballots and return by mail prior to February 19, 2015, or turn in at one of the drop off centers on Saturday, February 21, 2015, or on Election Day, February 24, 2015.
Ballots for Los Angeles County Community College District were also mailed to registered voters the week of January 26, 2015. That election is to be held March 3, 2015.
Voters are urged to make certain the proper ballot is returned to the proper location. Please read your ballots carefully and submit the appropriate one to the City Clerk’s office.
