The website www.MyMovieDeals.com has added new partners, new deals, more flexibility (any movie, any time at any AMC Burbank Theatre), and new payment options for deals offered exclusively in Burbank.
The new partners include the Burbank locations of Barney’s Beanery, Yogurtland, and Cinnabon who join Wahoo’s Fish Taco, Chevys Fresh Mex and AMC Theatres in adding value for moviegoers who see films at the AMC Burbank 6, 8 and 16.
The popular “$25 Movie & Meal for 2 plus Free Popcorn” deal now includes an option for a free menu item at Barney’s Beanery (value up to $15) when you buy one. Chevys Fresh Mex and Wahoo’s Fish Taco are also part of this deal. New partners Yogurtland and Cinnabon are adding free desserts with “buy one, get one free items.” AMC is providing a free popcorn.
“Moviegoers are receiving more than $50 of value for just $25,” said Frank Buckley, co-founder of MyMovieDeals and co-anchor of the KTLA 5 Morning News. “We’re trying to make moviegoing and ‘date nights’ affordable and Burbank businesses have stepped up in a big way to help.”
Moviegoers also have a “Sweet Deal” option now for $22 for 2 people which includes 2 movie tickets to any film at any time at any of the AMC Burbank Theatres, 1 free popcorn from AMC, and two free desserts. The dessert offer is a buy one, get one free at BOTH Yogurtland and Cinnabon.
Another new option is for the solo moviegoer for $12.50 which includes 1 movie ticket, 1 popcorn and a free dessert at both Yogurtland and Cinnabon. Yogurtland is providing 5 ounces of free frozen yogurt and Cinnabon is providing 50% off on either a Classic Cinnabon or a Minibon.
“These deals are only available through MyMovieDeals.com and they’re only available in Burbank,” said Gordon Ho, a former executive vice president at Disney Studios and co-founder of MyMovieDeals with Buckley. “We chose to launch in Burbank because we think it’s a great city and because there’s a great mix of AMC movie theaters, restaurants and businesses that have been all been willing to pitch in to provide added value for moviegoers.”
The deals are offered exclusively through MyMovieDeals.com. Payment options include credit card or PayPal. Moviegoers then receive vouchers that they print at home for the participating businesses. The movie tickets each have a value of $12.50 so they can be used on any showing of any film at any of the Burbank AMC Theatres. Movies in 3-D or Imax may incur a slight surcharge.
“I hope Burbank residents will take advantage of these offers and support their local businesses in the process,” said Buckley. “This is a way to see movies the way they were intended to be seen–on a big screen, in a comfortable theater with a community of fellow moviegoers at a great price.”
