National Night Out is a nationwide, one-night rally, where citizens and law enforcement join forces to strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships. Last year, over 1,100 people participated in the event.

All Burbank citizens and businesses are encouraged to celebrate with neighbors on their block, by working together to make a difference, planning a barbeque, block party, or meeting outdoors. Get to know your neighbors and discuss emergency preparedness, neighborhood watch, or safety issues that will enhance the quality of life in your neighborhood.

For those citizens who do not have time to plan their own event, come join the City of  Burbank’s official block party on the Chandler Bike Path. Information booths, exhibits, and food will be available. Parking is limited to availability on the surrounding streets.

If you need assistance in planning a block party for the evening or want to get involved in Neighborhood Watch, contact Officer Joshua Kendrick of the Burbank Police Department at jkendrick@burbankca.gov (818-238-3223).
