Upcoming Buena Vista Street closures between Winona Avenue and San Fernando Boulevard:
- Saturday, Jan. 30, at 3 a.m. to Sunday, Jan. 31, at 6 p.m., Buena Vista Street will be closed in both directions for bridge work. Detours will be posted.
- Monday, Feb. 1, through Friday, Feb. 5, there will be intermittent Buena Vista Street lane closures in both directions from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., but the street will remain open to motorists. Detours will be posted.
Illegal dumping is a crime. Violators will be prosecuted. If you notice illegal dumping at a construction site, get the license plate number and call 911.

➤ CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES for January 28 – February 5, 2016
SR-134 to Magnolia Boulevard
Bridge Construction: Work on Sonora Avenue, Alameda Avenue and Western Avenue Bridges. Placement of mulching materials on slopes.
Magnolia Boulevard to Buena Vista Street
Buena Vista Bridge (Winona Bridge): Forming soffit and stems (lower part of bridge structure) for southbound I-5 widening.
Buena Vista Railroad Bridge: Forming of median pier footings and abutments (supporting structures at the ends of the bridge span).
Buena Vista Ramps: Installation of stamped concrete.
Empire Avenue: Pouring and forming underpass abutment walls and pier. Retaining wall work.
Railroad Retaining Wall: Installation of precast wall panels between Hollywood Way and Burbank Boulevard.
Victory Place: Forming of abutments for the bridge and walls.
Old San Fernando Road Tunnel: Concrete crushing.
Utility Work: Conduit work on Victory Place between Empire Avenue and Wilson Avenue. Flaggers will direct motorists.
➤ CLOSURES for January 28 – February 5
SR-134 to Magnolia Boulevard
+ Intermittent closures of the northbound I-5 Alameda Avenue off- and on-ramps from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
+ The Los Angeles River Bike Path between Riverside Drive and just south of the SR-134 overcrossing in the City of Los Angeles will be closed through spring 2016. A signed detour is posted that directs bike path users to Zoo Drive and Western Heritage Way. See map here.
Magnolia Boulevard to Buena Vista Street
+ Buena Vista Street closures between Winona Avenue and San Fernando Boulevard:
- Thursday, January 21st, at 10 p.m. to Friday, January 22nd, at 6 a.m., Buena Vista Street will be closed in both directions for shoring removal. Detours will be posted.
- Saturday, January 23rd, at 3 a.m. to Sunday, January 24th, at 6 p.m., Buena Vista Street will be closed in both directions for bridge work. Detours will be posted.
- Monday, January 25th, through Friday, January 29th, there will be intermittent Buena Vista Street lane closures in both directions from 9 a.m. to
+ Intermittent closure of the southbound I-5 Burbank Boulevard off-ramp for equipment loading (night work).
